Help more diners understand your menu.
NutriChoice is building a marketplace that connects detailed restaurant information with the people looking for it. We are looking for restaurant partners willing to document their recipes, explain their preparation practices and keep that information current.
Platform in development. Applications do not activate a listing.
Good records start in your kitchen.
We’re looking for teams ready to maintain clear recipes, defined portions and preparation records. This page sets out what joining costs, the work it takes and when restaurants outside the pilot can join.
What joining costs
The plan proposes a commission of 20% of the food subtotal on every order, including pickup — nothing on delivery fees, taxes or tips. Under the current plan, that commission is the only charge NutriChoice makes to a restaurant.
Under the current plan, delivery fees pass through to the customer, or to your restaurant only if you choose to promote.
Under the current plan, refunds for problems your kitchen caused are deducted from your payout; NutriChoice covers refunds for platform or courier problems.
Pickup carries the same commission, because the same screening, listing and verification record applies however the food travels.
The restaurant toolkit is planned to be supplied at no charge through the pilot.
Joining also takes your kitchen’s time — about a guided half-week per location to set up, then an estimated 5–10 manager-hours a month of upkeep — and sealed packaging for each order (about 4% of the food subtotal). These are planning assumptions.
Final terms are set out in each agreement.
Your kitchen. Clearer information.
Reach interested diners
Help people discover dishes using the ingredient and portion information your team supplies.
Keep your menu identity
You set your menu and prices. We are designing the platform to make the information behind each dish easier to understand.
Build a repeatable process
Our planned onboarding tools bring recipes, supplier details, preparation notes and menu updates into one workflow.
What partnership involves
1. Share your menu
Tell us about your locations, dishes and current recipe records.
2. Record the full recipe
Partner kitchens will record every dish’s full recipe in a guided form, sign it, and sign again whenever a supplier, recipe or portion changes. The first recording will happen before the first pilot location opens.
3. Check before going live
By design, a location cannot take its first order until 100% of its menu is labelled; an on-site audit follows within 90 days of going live.
4. Keep the record current
By design, a change of supplier, recipe or portion goes back through these steps before the dish can be offered. A record that is not re-confirmed on time will be held back until the kitchen confirms it.
Who does what
Under the current plan, the work is shared like this.
Your kitchen
- Records each dish’s full recipe and signs it.
- Prepares each dish to its recorded recipe.
- Labels each order with a nutrition and allergen label and a batch sticker, seals it and scans it at handoff.
- Trains its staff on the agreed handling practice.
NutriChoice
- Supplies the restaurant toolkit and the labels.
- Runs the rule check and the label proof before a location goes live.
- Checks every location remotely each quarter, with an on-site audit within 90 days of going live and at least once a year after that.
- Runs ordering, courier selection, customer support and refunds.
What a partner holds
Under the current plan, a partner kitchen builds up three things.
What your kitchen holds
- A versioned record of the full recipe of every dish on your menu.
- A dated record of checks and of the fixes made after them.
- Staff trained on your handling practice, which is written down and posted in the kitchen.
When other restaurants can join
In 2027 the pilot is planned to run with one restaurant group. A small number of independent restaurants are planned to join inside the pilot areas late in 2027.
Restaurants outside the pilot: onboarding is planned to open in Metro Vancouver after the February 2028 pilot review, if it confirms the service is ready. In the Greater Toronto Area, it is planned to open if the July 2028 commercial review passes.
Built for restaurants ready to do the detail
We are interested in independent restaurants and multi-location groups with consistent recipes, a named contact and a practical way to maintain menu information. Completing an application is the start of a conversation, not a promise of acceptance or a launch date.
