Website privacy notice

Your information. A clear purpose.

This notice describes the early-access, restaurant and contact forms on the NutriChoice website, and how the service we are building is designed to handle your information. Updated 5 October 2026.

In short

What we collect

The details you type into a form. For early access, that is your email address, an optional postal area and an optional restaurant suggestion. On this website we never ask for health information.

Why

To send the updates you ask for, to plan which restaurants to invite and to answer your enquiries.

Where

In the website’s own database, with our hosting provider (see “How information is handled” below).

How long

Records older than 12 months are deleted the next time the forms or the owner’s enquiry view are used, or sooner if you ask. Hosting backups may keep copies for longer.

Your choice

Updates need your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time with a Privacy enquiry.

Who is responsible

NutriChoice (Canada) Inc., based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, is responsible for the information submitted through these forms. Use the Contact page and select Privacy to ask about your information, request access or correction, withdraw your update consent, or request deletion.

What we collect and why

Early access: your email address, an optional three-character Canadian postal area, a record of your request for updates and, if you choose, a restaurant you would like to see (its name, its city and one line on why). We use this information to manage interest and send the updates you requested. We use restaurant suggestions only to plan which restaurants to invite.

Restaurant enquiries: your contact and business details, location, optional menu link, record-readiness information and message. Contact enquiries: your name, email, selected topic and message. We use these details to review and respond to your enquiry.

Please do not submit medical conditions, medications, allergy profiles, patient information, payment details or confidential recipes. This website does not collect a personal health profile or take orders.

How information is handled

Form submissions are stored in the website’s hosted database and are accessible through a restricted owner enquiry view. Railway, our hosting provider, and its infrastructure providers process technical information needed to host and protect the website. Form submissions are stored on servers in the United States; we do not promise Canadian-only data storage.

The forms use validation, same-origin checks and a hashed, short-lived request counter to reduce abuse. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the enquiry records. An idempotency identifier prevents a retried request from creating duplicate records. We do not sell form information.

Retention and your choices

Enquiry records older than 12 months are deleted when the forms or owner enquiry view are used. The owner can delete a record earlier in response to a request. This is an application retention policy; hosting backups and technical logs may follow provider retention practices.

Early-access updates require your explicit choice. To withdraw, submit a Privacy enquiry with the email address you used and ask to stop updates. Withdrawal does not affect information already used to handle a previous enquiry. Restaurant and contact details are used to respond to the request you submit.

Demonstration and device settings

The sample demo, the sodium planner and the example on the home page run in your browser. What you enter or choose there is not stored as a health profile or sent to NutriChoice. A reduced-motion preference may be stored on this device. No advertising or analytics cookies are added by this website.

Your choices in the sample demo and the sodium planner are kept in their page's web address, so they can appear in your browser's history and in any link you copy or share. NutriChoice does not receive them.

The hosting service may require authentication and process technical request information. Website access settings are managed separately from the enquiry forms.

The service we are building

This section describes how the planned ordering service is designed. It is not operating yet, and this website collects none of it.

By design, the service keeps a diet profile made only of the limits and exclusions you choose. Examples are a sodium limit per meal and the foods you want to avoid. The profile is treated as health information: the service asks for your express consent and collects only what its rules read.

Profiles are held in Canada. When you order, the kitchen receives only what it must cook to, such as a food to leave out, and never your profile.
